Ramos Pinto is this lovely, late bottled vintage port 2004. 2004 was a very successful vintage in the Douro, and this wine is left unfiltered. The wine is firm and shows flavours of violets and figs and is delicious served with cheese.

The cheese is handmade, mature cheddar cheese from the Blaenafon cheddar company, which is based in the World Heritage site in South Wales. This particular cheddar is matured at the bottom of the mine shaft at Big Pit mining museum.
