Ramos Pinto is this lovely, late bottled, vintage port 2004. 2004 was a very successful vintage in the Douro, and this wine is unfiltered. The wine is firm and shows flavours of violets and figs.
Port just isn't the same without cheese and therefore, is accompanied by handmade, mature cheddar cheese, from the Blaenafon cheddar company. This is based in the world heritage site in South Wales and this particular cheddar is matured at the bottom of the mine shaft at Big Pit mining museum.
