Delivery Details
We may use a variety of carriers, depending on the weight and destination of the parcel. The parcels are clearly labelled with the recipient address and the personalised message is included on the address label. A signature is required.
Standard Delivery
Parcels are delivered three to five working days after ordering. We do accept orders in advance, so as to avoid disappointment, and then send these parcels when required. You can select a named day service or call us on 01989 770344 to discuss your requirements. Standard delivery orders received between December 1st 2011 and December 20th 2011, inclusive will be delivered in time for Christmas.
Next Day Delivery
Provided that you order before 12.00pm (GMT), we can normally despatch your gift on the same day, for delivery on the following working day. There is a surcharge of £2.00 for this service. Gifts ordered on a Friday will normally be delivered on a Monday. A Saturday morning delivery service is available, however there is an additional surcharge for this service. To discuss Saturday deliveries for quotation and advice please call 01989 770344. The next day service is not available for the Highlands, Islands or overseas.
Christmas Delivery
We will deliver your gift before Christmas, typically between 1st and 23rd December 2011, however we are unable to confirm the specific delivery date. We strongly advise that Christmas orders have been placed by Monday 19th December 2011, to guarantee delivery before Christmas.
Highlands and Islands
We do not send fresh food items to Highlands, Islands or overseas addresses, as we cannot guarantee to our satisfaction that they will remain fresh during the longer travel times.
There is a surcharge for deliveries to The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, and ZE. Please contact us on 01989770344 for quotation and advice.
There is a surcharge for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly - postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25. Please contact us on 01989770344 for quotation and advice.
Deliveries to the Channel Islands incur a surcharge, please contact us on 01989 770344 for quotation and advice.
We do not send parcels to BFPO addresses, as we cannot track them or obtain a signature.
Overseas
We can send hampers overseas, however some countries place restrictions on some food or alcohol items and it is not possible to track and guarantee deliveries in some parts of the world. Please contact us to discuss this further. Overseas deliveries take a minimum of three days, however we usally allow a week and we cannot take specified dates for delivery overseas.
Loss or Damage
We guarantee to replace goods damaged in transit, providing we are notified within 48 hours of delivery. Damaged goods may be refused on delivery and the carrier will return them. We will look to replace goods lost in transit, provided we are notified within 14 days of the required delivery date.
Redelivery
If the recipient is not there to receive a parcel, the carrier may try leaving the parcel with a neighbour, or will leave a card with contact details, so that redelivery or collection can be arranged. If you need the parcel to be redelivered to a different address, then we will need to arrange this with the carrier, although extra charge may be incurred.
After 2nd attempt of delivery, the carrier will look to return the gift to us within three working days. We will do everything to resolve the issue, before the parcel is returned. During the very busy Christmas season, we instruct carriers to leave deliveries in a safe, dry location and put a card through the door to say where the parcel has been left.
Delayed deliveries
We do ask for the recipients telephone numbers so that we can contact people directly in the event of a delivery issue. We do our best to check that addresses are valid, but can not accept responsibility for late delivery of gifts in the event that the address is incomplete or incorrect. We are not responsible for late deliveries due to adverse weather conditions or other causes beyond our reasonable control. We are able to track all UK and most overseas deliveries.
Fresh Food and Larger Hampers
For fresh food and larger gifts, we ask that you try to ensure that someone will be available to receive the gifts on delivery. We do not send fresh food items to Highlands, Islands and overseas addresses. We do not send out gifts containing fresh food on a Friday
